(1) Ambient temperature:
High ambient temperature is the typical factor affecting the service life of the battery, battery manufacturers’ requirements of ambient temperature is in commonly 20 ~ 25 ℃, with the increase of temperature, battery discharge ability has also improved, but when the environment temperature is more than 25 ℃, the service life of the battery will be reduced accordingly.
(2) Excessive discharge:
Excessive discharge of battery is another important factor that affects the life of battery.
The battery life depends on its discharge depth, the greater the discharge depth, the shorter the service life.
When the battery is over-discharged to the output voltage of zero, it will cause a large amount of lead sulfate to be absorbed into the cathode surface of the battery, forming the "sulfuric acid" of the battery cathode.
As lead sulfate itself is an insulator, its formation will have a bad effect on the charge and discharge performance of the battery.
Therefore, the more sulfates formed on the cathode plate, the greater of the internal resistance of the battery, the worse of the charge and discharge performance of the battery, the shorter of the service life.
